Pride: vanity, conceit, self-esteem, self-satisfaction, self-respect, vainglory. An overhigh opinion of oneself; exaggerated self-esteem; conceit. The showing of this in behavior; haughtiness; arrogance.

"Pride only looks good from the inside."


Praise: laudation, eulogy, applause, encomium, plaudit, panegyric, commendation. To commend; to applaud; to express approval or admiration of; to extol in words or song; to magnify, to glorify.

"Praise a son, build a man."


Offering: a gift or contribution; oblation. To present; to tender; to proffer.

"My only offering is my heart."
